| LEAVE (1) Definition: A period of time when you are allowed to be away from work for a holiday/vacation or for a special reason. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (to emphasize). 2. Approved and authorized (see definition). 3. Earned. That is, you put in the best efforts, at work, during the time prior permitted period. 4. Commenced timely, as per official calender or arrangement. 5. Period is spent well. And/or special purpose is achieved, without suffering an unplanned loss. 6. There is no link with work during the period. That is, no requirement to clarify or confirm a thing in or at the office. 7. You returned to work at the right time (connect to #2). 8. Your ability to perform duties, efficiently and effectively, is not hampered or diminished as a result of the activities engaged in during the break/holiday/vacation. 9.
