| LAWLESSNESS (2) Definition: (of people or their actions) Behaving or being without respect for the law. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for the law breakers. 2. 'Criminals' are aware of the existence of specific law(s) and the need to respect same. 3. There is an awareness of sanctions for the flouting of a law or the provision that ignorance of the law is no excuse (to emphasize). 4. No law breaker acted under gunpoint to break a law. That is, the 'felon' or set of 'felons' acted voluntarily. 5. No loss, planned or unplanned, or sanction, is suffered as a direct result of breaking the law(s). That is, there will be no arrest, trial or prosecution of law breakers! 6. Some real gain or profit is earned by 'criminals'. 7. There will be no recourse to the (legal) justice system, when the 'rights' of the lawless are denied or trampled on.
