| LAWLESSNESS (1) Definition: (of a country or an area) The state of a lack of laws or disobedience to laws. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the lawless residents/inhabitants. 2. Institutions such as the courts, police, etc. exists to enforce the law (if in existence) but these are ineffective. Or the need (?) for a lack of laws is unanimous among the citizens/occupants. That is, the criminal justice system is in shambles or non-existent. 3. No overall group or collective progress or development can be achieved in the state (connect to #6). 4. No alliance, support, cooperation, etc. can be established with orderly countries or societies, areas or organizations. 5. No real (trained) law enforcement agents. Or no security conscious law enforcement agents are in lawful employment. Or, the policemen/policewomen, if any, will always find it most convenient to turn their weapons on other officers of the law, carrying out their legitimate duties (connect to #3, to emphasize). 6.
