| LAW (2) Definition: (also - the law) The whole system of rules that everyone in a country or society must obey. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see perfect ORDER (3)). 2. System is tight. That is, no loophole or lacuna in an enactment, a regulation, etc. In other words, rules are enforceable (see perfect CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR). 3. Humane, fair and just, not brutish and unfriendly (connect to #2) (see perfect RIGHT (1)). 4. System is amenable or can be reviewed, as would be determined by the people (= citizens or members) concerned (see perfect USEFULNESS). 5. Lawful or legal. That is, system is approved or authorized, by the relevant organ(s), person(s), committee(s), council, etc., to be in operation (see perfect HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES). 6. System is working. That is, people are not living country or resigning membership of society, as a direct result of rules, whether draconian or liberal, extreme or moderate. And those who may break laws are not left to go unpunished (see perfect OBEDIENCE (1)). 7. Gives protection to the lower animals and also to the environment or ecosystem (see perfect HUMANITY (2)). 8. Rules can be challenged and the probe made in respect of applicable rules can be resolved (see perfect JUSTICIARY (2)). 9. Serves purpose(s).
