| LATENESS (1) Definition: An arrival, occurrence or doing that is after the expected or arranged or usual time. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. A genuine and serious effort was made to be early or on time. 2. Reason or reasons for 'slowness' is/are known or can be known. 3. Expected or arranged or usual time is reasonable and accepted. 4. Late arrival, happening, etc. will result in a disadvantage, etc. 5. An excuse will be given but this will not be accepted. That is, some sanction or punishment will be meted out to 'lazy' person/party. 6. Hope was for earliness - no provision for Plan B or an alternative. 7.
