Last orders
LAST ORDERS

Definition: (British English) The last opportunity for people to buy drinks in a pub or a bar before it closes.
______________________________________________________________________

* All seven elements should be in.

1. Purposeful (to emphasize, see definition, connect to #2).

2. Considered necessary to provide chance for revellers/drinkers, and for proprietor to make additional purchases and sales.

3. Announced not too close to closing time. That is, duration remaining will still be adequate to swallow drink without hurrying.

4. Brand(s) of drink(s) desired will (still) be available.

5. Condition of available drinks will be as desired - cold, no, chilled; or room temperature, no hot; or ... .

6. No regret will arise, for proprietor, from providing opportunity. That is, buyer does not become unruly after drinking more, and damage properties in pub or bar. And buyer does not exhaust funds on last bottle(s) such that departure from bar will become problematic. And no accident occurs as a direct outcome of extra buy.

7. Chance offered serves purpose(s), whether taken up or not.
