Lamentation
LAMENTATION

Definition: (formal) An expression of great sadness or disappointment.

1. Purposeful, for the one lamenting, even if unappreciated by others.

2. Considered a necessity to lament (connect to #1, #9 & #10).

3. Cause(s) or source(s) of sadness or disappointment is/are real, not in anticipation or from what is yet to be.

4. Expression is specific and identifiable; clear, unmistakable.

5. (Reserved.) (Never really expected to be specifically responded to, even if expression is/was directed to a particular person/organization or group of persons/organizations.)

6. Extent of expression is considered reasonable. That is, shouts, writings, screams, etc. won't result in an unplanned loss, or cause a damage to reputation, vocal cords, etc.

7. Experience of expression will be incredibly 'moving'. That is, an impact will be made, on hearer, reader, listener, etc. by what is expressed.

8. Expression will lasts for a duration considered adequate.

9. Provides some 'escape' route, from its intensity, without causing a problem for others who may be around or hear 'cries'. That is, expression will serve some purpose(s).

10. Expression is truthful, not hypocritical. (To emphasize.)

11. No blame, threat, looking for a scapegoat, admitting a fault or complicity, looking for a 'solution', etc. during the period. (All that will be for another occasion/day!)
