| LADDER (2) Definition: A series of stages by which you can make progress in a career or an organization. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Can be 'climbed' or reached with personal (= your) ability, experience, qualification, hard work, etc. 3. Atmosphere or situation, that is, competition, in each stage will not be stifling or suffocating. That is, period of stay at, or mode of operation in, any stage will be considered normal. 4. Its 'rungs' are complete; movement/promotion will be step-by-step; not a series requiring a need to jump or skip any of the levels. 5. Beneficial. That is, what will be learned in each stage will contribute to the betterment in the overall quality or value that will be obtained in the end.
