| LABOUR RELATIONS Definition: The relationship between employers and employees in industry, and the political decisions and laws that affect it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have 'connection'. 2. Fora and organs will be established for 'meeting of minds'. That is, stakeholders - owners/management, employees/labourers, politicians/parliamentarians, will all be able to regularly interact/consult. 3. Dispute resolution mechanisms sure present at all times. 4. Industrial and employment laws will be respected by all. 5. Agreements or bargains, resolutions or memorandum of understanding, etc. that will be entered into or made, by or on behalf of each party in industry, society, or legislature, will be honoured by the signatories. 6. Sustained in all circumstances, wobbly or strong. That is, a medium of effective communication will always be present between employers and employees, and amongst the politicians and lawmakers. 7. Brings no loss to country, etc. That is, decisions that will be reached by parties in relationship will not result to low productivity, decline in direct foreign investment, etc. such that economy will be threatened or totter to a collapse or being crippled. _________________________________________ See perfect INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS.
