Labour camp
LABOUR CAMP

Definition: A labour camp is a kind of prison, where the prisoners are forced to do hard, physical work, usually outdoors.

2. No claim, if any, by prisoners, for a breach of their fundamental rights will be sustainable in a court of law.

6. Escape from 'outside' will be impossible for the prisoner-worker.

8. Achieves objective(s) for the 'bad' prison administration.

9. Prisoner does not suffer, as a result of the hardship, such that incapacitation arises or death occurs soon afterwards. That is, the 'prisoner-slave' will end up being released after serving term.
