| KNITTING (2) Definition: The activity of knitting (= making clothes, etc. from wool or cotton thread using two long thin knitting needles or a machine). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity to engage in activity - making clothes. (Connect to #2.) 2. (Reserved.) (Clothes are commissioned to be made, if knit(s) is/are to be delivered to particular customer(s).) 3. Design that is specific and identifiable is had in mind before start of activity. And/or the measurements of the eventual wearer of clothes are taken/known. 4. Raw materials - wool or cotton - are of the best quality, of the right thickness, colour, texture, etc. 5. Activity will not involve or result in a waste of available yarn. 6. No instrument or tool will be damaged as a direct result of the manner in which activity is performed. 7. The time or duration taken to complete activity will be considered, especially if work was commissioned, as reasonable, particularly by who needs (or needed) to use the clothes. 8. Achieves objective(s). That is, activity will involve careful processes such that clothes knitted will be clean and tidy; can be bought and/or usable.
