Kiss of death
KISS OF DEATH

Definitions:

i. (idiomatic - the kiss of death) (informal, especially humorous) An event that seems good, but is certain to make something else fail.

ii. If you say that a particular event is the kiss of death for something, you mean that it is certain to make them fail or be a disaster.

iii. An association, relationship, etc. that will lead inevitably to catastrophe, though superficially innocuous.

1. Processes or procedures involved in event cannot be interrupted. That is, event, will, after being started, be continued and concluded.

2. The system that event will be based on will not be at risk. That is, all stages in event will be legal end exactly as expected.

3. No likelihood of an interference in event by the law - annulment, cancellation, etc. - or by Mother Nature - postponement, delay, etc.

4. No 'crisis of confidence' will arise such that a vote of no confidence in the actors/participants, change of mind, etc. will bring non-cooperation, protest, sabotage, etc. in the situation.

5. The absolute and definite nature of event will make an attempt at appeasement, 'encouragement', rationalization, etc. meaningless. That is, there will be no room for a misinterpretation, confusion, misdirection, etc., such that it would be claimed that thing should not have failed or ought not to have turned out disastrous.
