| JOBSWORTH Definition: (British English, informal, disapproving) A person who follows the rules of a job exactly, even when this causes problems for other people, or when the rules are not sensible. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Knows that the rules are not sensible (to emphasize). 2. Non-discriminatory in carrying out duties, even if a personal loss will be suffered by the 'strict' person. 3.
