| IRREVERENCE Definition: (usually approving) The situation of not showing respect to somebody/something that other people usually respect. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity by who shows disrespect. 2. Person being disrespectful is not forced to display attitude. 3. Irreverent attitude will not be from outright irresponsibility or a lack of knowledge. That is, person knows the implication of (mis)behaviour. 4. Person/thing disrespected would not have done a specific thing, at the time, to be deserving of ill-treatment. That is, would not have contributed directly to being disrespected. 5. A request or plea, if any, to refrain from disrespectful act, will be disregarded. And irreverent acts or actions will be brazenly displayed. 6. No sanction or talking-to, ticking off or condemnation of disrespectful person will be made, by the others who usually show respect to particular person/thing.
