| INVESTMENT (2) Definition: [ ~ (in something) ] The act of investing money in something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity, in the investor's opinion. 2. Thing invested in would be specific and identifiable. 3. Specific and identifiable thing should be legal, registered, approved, etc. 4. Applicable terms and conditions guiding act, should be clearly made known - projections, duration, transferability, benefits, etc. - from the start. 5. Amounts invested are fully owned by investor(s) and are considered as funds that can be invested. 6. Amount is adequate to help achieve intended objective(s). 7. Money is invested reasonably and timely by the company or person responsible for managing resource. 8. Transaction can be reviewed or monitored regularly and/or constantly to ensure its growth (and, if necessary, can be exited). 9. What is invested in has prospects for growth. That is, money should be in capable hands; well-managed by qualified, reliable professionals. In other words, not in a volatile or risky endeavour. 10. Returns, in whatever manner, would be received as projected - adequately, timely and steadily; smart. 11. Areas that money or monies are invested in should have a positive multiplier effect on the economy; sustainable. 12.
