| INTRIGUE (3) Definition: The atmosphere of interest and excitement that surrounds something secret or important. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. No serious hint, clue or inkling about how well-hidden or vital the thing is. 2. Efforts that would be made to lower interest or reduce excitement, where desired, will have no effect. 3. Appreciation and understanding in the situation is not very thorough or truly complete. That is, the full extent of secret nature and importance of thing is not quite known. 4. Nature or personality or mindset, at the time, won't give up. That is, feeling and mood cannot be put away during the period. 5. There will be no certainty about what the end, when 'mystery' is solved, will be. That is, whether expectation of outcome/discovery will be pleasant or favourable, shocking or appalling, exhilarating or disappointing, etc., cannot be known before an end. 6. Support, aid, assistance, etc. that could make thing plain or douse excitement, is not available at the point in time. Or the help that may be provided will be inappropriate. 7.
