| INTERVIEWER Definition: The person who asks the questions in an interview. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it a necessity to probe. 2. Does not ask a leading question. Or does not insist that a leading question be answered. That is, makes no effort to put words in an interviewee's mouth ! 3. Asks only sensible and/or reasonable questions, but this will be only in the estimation of the interviewee(s). 4. Makes no insinuation that will be deemed as rude or offensive by the interviewee(s). Or an apology for a hurtful question, if any, that was asked innocently, will be accepted. 5. (Reserved.) (Doesn't know for sure the answer to a question asked. Therefore, won't be seen as being personal in asking, questioning, etc.) 6. Never interrupts an attempt to answer a question. And will not suggest a hint, clue, etc. to an interviewee who is answering. 7. Has adequate knowledge and understanding, and in the right frame of mind, at the time of questioning, to appreciate an answer and not demand for an unnecessary clarification or request for a needless repetition of an answer that has been already clearly given. 8. Achieves objective(s), whatever this/these is/are (connect to #9). 9. Records the answers correctly (where applicable).
