| INTERVENTION (1) Definition: The act or process of becoming involved in a situation in order to improve or help it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for party intervening. 2. There is an invitation to become involved or an uninvited appearance or presence will be tolerated. That is, act will not be ruled as unauthorized, unapproved or illegal. 3. Involvement happens on time. 4. Efforts made are appropriate. 5. No unplanned loss will be suffered by helper. 6. There will be no expectation of a direct financial gain or material benefit, unless this likelihood is stated in the invitation. 7. No credit will be claimed in the end - for what is not done, by who intervenes. That is, only the correct input will be declared or acknowledged as contribution. 8. Act achieves objective(s) or serves purpose(s) - sustains or supports a situation. 9.
