| INTERPELLATION (1) Definition: The act of interpellating (demanding (in some legislative bodies) an explanation or defense of a decision or policy from (a minister): a question raised during the course of a debate. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary in the opinion of who makes demand. 2. Question or request is tabled in line with rules (to emphasize). 3. Timing is right, before issuing of an official statement, etc., if any. 4. Duration of making demand will be such that reply can be useful. 5.
