| INSTIGATION (1) Definition: The act of causing something to begin or happen: the act of inciting: impulse, especially to evil. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Thing to be caused to happen is specific and identifiable. 3. Act can be justified, whether it is by an order, a threat, the issue of a promise, warning, etc. 4. In other words, act will have substance, not just plain symbolism. 5. Act and follow-up or follow-through deeds are not illegal or illicit, whatever benefit is expected from the outcome. 6. End result of act is predictable or can be forecast or estimated, be this good or bad, positive or negative. 7.
