| INSPECTOR (1) Definition: A person whose job is to visit schools, factories, etc. to check that rules are being obeyed and that standards are acceptable. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Will be formally authorized. 3. Qualified by training, experience, etc. 4. Goes prepared and ready, with a checklist, etc. 5. Does work (= inspection) meticulously or carefully, deliberately or purposefully; diligently and faithfully. And completes task within the time allowed for assignment. 6. Makes observations during visit and informs school authority, factory managers, etc. of same during period. And writes and submits report after exercise (= visit). 7. (Reserved.) (Has limited authority - can stop a faulty process, order a change of procedure, effect a correction, etc., as necessary.) 8.
