INSISTENCE (1)

Definition: [ ~ (on something/on doing something)/ ~ (that ...) ] An act of demanding or saying something firmly and refusing to accept any opposition or excuses.

* All seven elements should be in.


1. Purposeful for who makes firm demand and refuses to accept.

2. Considered a necessity, even if it won't be justified. And even if there is no reasonable basis for position taken (connect to #1).

3. What is demanded or said is definite. And refusal is definitive.

4. No unplanned loss will be suffered as a direct consequence of seeming intransigence.

5. Thorough and unconditional. That is, no inducement, threat, etc. will result in the relaxation or abandonment of the hard line stance previously adopted. In other words, there will be no moderation in thing said or part-acceptance of opposition or excuse.

6. Situation or 'stubbornness' lasts for period desired.

7. Act achieves objective(s) or serves purpose(s), whatever this/these is/are. That is, act will be beneficial in the end.
