| INNOCENCE (1) Definition: The fact of not being guilty of a crime, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. 1. No help or support was unknowingly or unwittingly given or provided for the offender or wrongdoer, whatever the allegation - no mischief or mischief-making. 2. No link or connection, directly or indirectly, can be established, between the crime and the benefits therefrom - that is collectible immediately or to be received in the future - with or to the innocent party, whatever the suspicion - no accessory before/after the fact. __________________ NO DOUBTS ... 3. There will be no fear, avoidance, non-cooperation, etc. with the law enforcement agent(s), in the course of conducting an enquiry or investigation, or searching for clues, or while trying to unravel situation or solve problem, whatever the gravity - no mistrial (by law) or misdirection (by judge) or misjudgement (jury). ______________________________________ CLEAREST, HARMLESS CONSCIENCE ... 4. There was no thought of wishing that an opportunity to commit crime was available, with the assurance or guarantee that there would not be an apprehension and conviction, whatever the temptation - no mediation or insinuation. 5. There is no case of a wrong being committed that was pardoned, condoned, repudiated, forgiven, etc., etc., whatever a court's ruling or judgement or the stand of public opinion - no mitigation or plea-bargaining! _____________________________ ... absolutely NOT GUILTY !
