| INFIGHTING (2) Definitions: i. Arguments and disagreements between people in the same group who are competing for power. ii. Intense competition within an organization. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the 'infighters'. 2. No illegal or unapproved/unauthorized method is used in 'fight'. But 'competition' has no rules ! 3. 'Prize' being fought for is known; specific and identifiable. 4. Goal or power desired is attainable (connect to #3 & #7). 5. Group or organization gains from competition, by way of improved standards, increased earnings, etc. (To emphasize.) 6. Fighters are matched. That is, argument, disagreement, struggle, etc. is not the result of indiscipline amongst staff, especially between junior and senior employees or members. And there will be a 'level-playing field' for all involved. 7.
