Definition: The act or process of forming an opinion, based on what you already know.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. The known is collated or gathered completely.

3. Consideration and thought given during act or process was deep and/or in-depth. That is, state of mind was excellent at the time of thinking about conclusion(s) to make. Information available is therefore definitive and conclusive.

4. Act or process is not undertaken in collaboration with another individual (see definition).

5. Procedures of appreciation, elimination, comparison, prioritization (where required), selection, etc. is completed.

6. Doubts, misgivings, etc. are non-existent at the end of exercise.

7. Opinion is formed, whether it serves purpose(s) or not.
