Definition: The people and the activities involved in producing a particular thing, or in providing a particular service.

1. Purposeful and considered a necessity.

2. Specific and identifiable. That is, legally recognized as responsible for the production of particular thing.

3. Dedicated and loyal to the cause - whether the people are indolent or hardworking, or the activities are efficient or not-so-efficient.

4. Observes and includes best practices.

5. Fulfils all legal or corporate obligations, in addition to being aware of and alive to their (= its) corporate social responsibilities.

6. Monitored and/or regulated appropriately. That is, not involved in any illegality to produce or provide goods or service.

7. Not involved in the pricing, marketing, distribution, etc. of the product, produce, service, etc., through unapproved intermediaries.

8. Active and exists for the duration hoped or planned.
