INDUCTION (1)

Definition: [ ~ (into something) ] The process of introducing somebody to a new job, skill, organization, etc.; a ceremony at which this takes place.

* This is not about the ceremony.


1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Eligibility and/or suitability is confirmed.

3. Initial contact is gradually established.

4. The basics, preliminaries, members, etc. are taught, presented, etc. in a methodical and systematic manner, be this theory and/or practical, junior(s) and/or senior(s), etc.

5. Acceptance, capability to continue, compatibility, etc. is established. And necessary adjustment(s), if any, by participant/joiner, is/are made as the process unfolds.

6. Understanding and appreciation is achieved, in good time, by the person being inducted. That is, questions are asked, where necessary, and doubts or misgivings are cleared.

7. No unplanned loss will arise during process (to emphasize).

8. On completion of process, person being presented or introduced is ready, able and willing to go anywhere and perform any lawful task.
