| INDOCTRINATION Definition: (disapproving) The act of forcing somebody to accept a particular belief or set of beliefs and not allowing them to consider any others. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful for person using force. 2. Considered a necessity to disallow freedom of choice while applying force. 3. Process of securing an acceptance is consistent and/or repetitive. 4. Position or stance adopted is justified or made obscure for the person being made to adopt forced belief. 5. Questions or doubts that may be raised are 'cleared' or 'answered'. 6. Contacts, relationships or communication, etc. of the person targeted are restricted or limited, within legal bounds. ______________________________ BASIC BRAINWASHING ... 7. Benefits, gains, advantages, etc. that exists in situation are the highlights of what person is told repeatedly. 8. Assurance of safety, positives, goodness, etc. - not risks or dangers - in the belief or set of beliefs is given to person. 9. No physicality is involved in the use of forceful methods - to get message to be accepted and to prevent contact with proponents, if any, of other different beliefs. 10. Act achieves objective(s), with or without an unplanned loss. 11. Acceptance or adoption of particular belief or set of beliefs is reflected in new approaches, behaviour, attitude, activities, etc. ____________________________________ ...
