| INCISIVENESS (1) Definition: The ability to show clear thinking and good understanding of what is important, and the ability to express this. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Frame of mind is excellent at the time of display and expression. 3. Reasoning or thinking process and presentation of find or discovery is not unduly rushed or delayed. That is, thoughts are deep and sound; speech is clear or plain. 4. Appropriate enquiries, consultations, etc., as necessary, take place. That is, the process is all-encompassing and complete; in other words, procedure will be all-inclusive. 5. Appreciation, appraisal, deduction, conclusion, recognition - of an importance, delivery, etc. are correct - even as this can only be known much later. 6. Manner of expression is appropriate and/or acceptable. 7. Comments, remarks, etc. are not hazy, confusing or obscurantist. 8. What is understood and expressed is said, written, mentioned or indicated timely and promptly, to help achieve the intended goal(s). 9.
