Definition: Failure to act when action is called for.

1. Not failing in furtherance of some cause; purposeless.

2. Permission was not sought prior decision; unnecessary.

3. No tenable reasons can be proffered, simple; inexcusable.

4. No other activity was engaged in meanwhile; senseless.

5. Loss, disadvantage, etc. will arise therein; riddance.

6. Tough sanctions will eventually follow the loss; deserts.
