Definitions:

i. (usually disapproving) Lack of action; the state of doing nothing about a situation or a problem.

ii. Lack of action or motion.

1. Purposeful and necessary, whether justifiable or not !

2. Of own volition. That is, no encumbrances to bring about decision to do nothing.

3. Lasts for the duration expected and in the manner planned.
