| IMPUNITY Definition: (formal, disapproving) If a person does something bad with impunity, they do not get punished for what they have done. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and deliberate action. That is, there is or there will be a full awareness that thing to be done is bad, illegal, etc. 2. A certainty exists that punishment or sanction will be escaped. Or there is an assurance that punishment will be a 'slap on the wrist'. 3. Some gain or benefit, whatever this/these is/are, will be obtained or available, in the situation, for the wrongdoer. 4. A process of arrest, reprimand, caution or of even warning offender is not started or commenced (to emphasize). 5.
