| IMPERIALISM (2) Definition: (usually disapproving) The fact of a powerful country increasing its influence over other countries through business, culture, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity by powerful country to spread and increase influence. 2. Increase is to the extent desired (connect to #5 & #6). 3. No illegality is employed by country to attain its goal(s). 4. Does not end in less powerful country being colonized. 5. What is spread is embraced by the recipient countries. And are not unethical values, immorality or corrupting tendencies (to emphasize). 6.
