| IMMEDIACY (1) Definition: (formal) The quality in something that makes it seem as if it is happening now, close to you and is therefore important, urgent, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. There is an assumed risk, danger, consequence, challenge, etc. in the quality or situation. 2. No chance or time for the quality to be inspected, assessed, examined, cross-checked, etc. to confirm assumed status or state. 3. Quality calls for an immediate action, response, decision or determination, etc. (to emphasize, see definition). 4. Thing is likely to happen soon, is probably not too far away, and cannot be unimportant, all arising from belief in the existence of quality. 5. Nothing serious would be lost, if particular situation is allowed to proceed naturally (connect to #6). 6.
