| IDEALIST (1) Definition: A person who believes that a perfect life, situation, etc. can be achieved, and works towards this, even when this is not very likely. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Knows what is excellent, right, correct, appropriate, etc.; has an awareness of the ideal. 2. Permanently strives to be better, to achieve more positive things, etc., whatever sacrifice is involved. 3. Never surrenders to the substandard, an evil or a negative, and does not accept a minimum or average - when a maximum or best is available - and will condone no wrong, etc. 4. Never tries to enforce beliefs or opinions on others - persuades, cajoles, and threatens maybe. And tolerates or copes in the condition that is not favourable and which he or she cannot change. 5. Listens to no story or tale about the impossibility of - not the difficulty in - attaining goal(s), whoever the talebearer(s). Believes there is always a way somewhere, somehow. 6. True to himself and conscious about the environment and people and animals around. That is, person does not suffer from self-delusion, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-natal depression, etc. In other words, cannot contemplate suicide, mercy killing, extermination, etc. 7. Never believes that wish is not likely. That is, person is always hoping for the best (= the ideal).
