| IDEALISM (1) Definition: The belief that a perfect life, situation, etc. can be achieved, even when this is not very likely. ______________________________________________________________________ * Belief involves ... all twelve situations, at the least. 1. Knowing what is right, correct, appropriate, applicable; appreciating the ideal (= truthfulness, genuineness and all). 2. Recognizing shortcomings, differences and shortages. That is, an ability is possessed to know what is less than excellent, needed or ideal standard. 3. Promptly tackling, with people of like minds and/or other stakeholders, problems and issues. 4. Surrendering or bowing to superior reason(s) or argument(s). 5. Removing self-imposed obstacles/obstructions such as prejudice, bias, self-doubt, etc. 6. Having specific but lawful aim(s), goal(s), target(s) and/or objective(s), etc. 7. Avoiding the temptation of anything less than the usual, ideal standard. And refusing to make excuses for failure and failings. 8. Taking sensible or calculated risk(s) (to emphasize). 9. Ensuring that all that is needed in a particular situation or circumstance is provided or available. 10. Having a high expectation, with a measure of self-confidence. 11. Doing the right thing, effectively and efficiently, in every occasion and at all times. 12.
