| HYSTERICS (1) Definition: An expression of extreme fear, excitement or anger that makes somebody lose control of their emotions and cry, laugh, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful, even if this is unknown or unnecessary. 2. Unplanned and unprepared for, as it occurs naturally. 3. The source or cause of fear, anger, etc. is or can be known. 4. Duration that it lasts is excessive, in the opinion of person expressing emotion, and others affected by expression. 5. Brings some loss - confusion or panic, inconvenience or embarrassment, delusion or self-denial, sanction or punishment, etc. 6.
