HYPOCRISY (1)

Definition: (disapproving) Behaviour in which somebody pretends to have moral standards or opinions that they do not actually have.

1. Purposeful and necessary for the pretender.

2. Benefit, profit, gain, advantage, etc. is envisaged at the end or as an end result of (bad) behaviour.

3. Hypocrite is immune to criticism! That is, will not admit dishonest or insincere behaviour, if asked or when confronted.

4. Behaviour is displayed only in the presence of others.

5. Insincerity or dishonesty will not be discovered or suspected such that relationship or dealing with hypocrite is affected.

6. Behaviour achieves objective(s), even if gain, etc. do not last.

7. (Reserved.) (Pretence will be discovered or revealed - not ever confessed - some time in the future.) (To emphasize.)
