| ATTAINDER Definition: The loss of all rights as a citizen, part of the punishment of a person condemned to death or outlawry for treason or felony (now abolished). ______________________________________________________________________ * All five or six elements, as applicable, would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to strip person of rights. 2. Approved or authorized by lawful organ - not by a mob or gang. 3. Loser previously enjoyed the rights (then, now) seized, cancelled. 4.
