| HURT (2) Definition: A feeling of unhappiness because somebody has been unkind or unfair to you. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful - to hurt another - for the person who has been unkind or unfair. 2. You - sufferer - did not foresee and therefore did not prepare for situation (= bad treatment). 3. You do not, in your opinion, deserve unkindness or unfairness. 4. No immediate remedy is possible in the situation. That is, you are unable to effect instant correction or take immediate revenge. In other words, you are in no position to neutralize 'the negative'. 5. You have no thought of condoning or overlooking or forgiving the bad treatment received. That is, you are planning, plotting, etc. ... 6. Feeling lasts for an annoyingly long time, in your opinion, before being overcome. 7. Loss or losses occur to you in state of unhappiness, whether this is/are realized or not. 8. No explanation, apology, remorse, etc. is offered or shown by the cruel person, to ameliorate feeling (= your suffering). 9. (Reserved.)
