| HURDLE (1) Definition: Each of a series of vertical frames that a person or horse jumps over in a race. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Height of frame is as approved by the sports governing authority and/or the competition rules. 3. Placed correctly and separately - at the right intervals, and not touching another frame. 4. Its balance is stable and permanent - not easily affected by the forces of nature: wind, breeze, etc. 5.
