| HUNGER STRIKER Definition: A person who embarks on a hunger strike. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Person has a purpose. 2. Considers it a necessity to go without food. 3. Involved of own conviction. That is, not cajoled into act by another or 'starving' under the use or threat of force. 4. Can afford the usual or preferred type food, if desired. 5. Healthy and fit enough to lasts for the whole period of 'fast'. 6. Does not get involved in trying to achieve objective(s), by using other means at the time. That is, carries out no physical action such as a march, fisticuffs, etc. to advance cause. 7. Will be conscious all through period and will never be force-fed. 8. Does not deliberately refuse to drink water ! (To emphasize.) 9.
