| HUMOUR (4) Definition: Humour is the quality in something that makes you laugh, for example in a situation, in someone's words or actions, or in a book or film. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Specific and identifiable, be it (= quality) happening as expected (predictably) or occurring surprisingly (suddenly). 2. Measurable and/or assessable, whenever the laugh takes place and however the laugh or its effect turns out or results in. 3. Genuine, 'fresh', original, not coaxed or forced, pretentious or fake, be features in the quality staid or negative. 4. Quality will exist or be present for a considerable period to cause the chuckle or snigger, some whoopee or a belly laugh. 5. Understood fully and can, therefore, be explained convincingly, if necessary, even if the details in quality will not be remembered afterwards. 6. Will not ordinarily bring a loss, etc. to who laughs.
