| HOPEFUL Definition: A person who wants to succeed at something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Has some purpose for desiring success. 2. Considers it a necessity to achieve aim(s) or goal(s). 3. Mobilizes and/or prepares. That is, gets the wherewithal - acquires the skills, procures the equipment or tools, fulfills the requirement, if any and required, etc., etc. (And praying, if he or she believes in the efficacy of supplication.) 4. Makes a prudent plan or has a road map, confirms arrangements, including a Plan B, a contingency, etc. __________________________ GET OFF YOUR ASS ! ... There is a basis. And will be ready to suffer inconveniences and temporary losses. In other words, will be ready to try again and again and ... . 7. Has an idea what to do, when and if win is secured; planning how to manage or sustain victory/success, be it a cakewalk or hard-won one. 8. (Reserved.)
