| HOMEWORKING Definition: The action of working at home, often doing jobs that are not well paid such as making clothes for shops/stores. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (connect to #5 & #8). 2. Justifiable, even if a job outside the home is available. 3. Quality of work done is excellent - only the pay is not. Patronage is therefore available for products of labour - just that increase pay or 'profit' cannot be negotiated or obtained. 4. No damage is done to the home while at work. And home is not needlessly made filthy or dirtied, despoiled, etc. (to emphasize). 5. Work is not a disturbance or distraction to neighbour(s), if any. 6. Efforts are not being made to get better pay or an 'external' job. 7. No psychological or emotional loss occurs to worker as a result of being mostly at home, ... working for peanuts. 8.
