| HOME-SCHOOLING Definition: The practice of educating children at home, not in schools. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Justified by the parents, guardian, etc. That is, there is a reason or there are reasons why children will not be sent to a regular school. 3. Not against a law. That is, practice is acceptable in the area, county, local government, city, etc. 4. Quality of education is same as that offered in the schools. That is, the subjects, syllabus, activities - including excursions, etc. - taught at home, are same with those in the school's, whoever is/are the 'teacher(s)', educator(s), etc. 5. (Reserved.) (The quality of 'homework' is the same as that done by regular school students.) 6. Break time or recess is not used for house chores! (To emphasize.) 7. Children will do very well in public examinations, as well as, if not better than the performance of many of the children who went to the regular schools. 8.
