| HOME STRAIGHT (1) Definition: (especially British English) (usually - the home straight) The last part of a race. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. 'Discouraging', tiring, exhausting, etc. 3. (Reserved.) (A trump card, game plan, joker, etc. can still be applied at the stage (= part), for a (the) strategic runner, etc.) 4. Part can be completed. That is, distance, etc. is not so much that the energy or reserve possessed by competitor cannot finish the race. 5. Rules cannot be changed at this point in time in a race. That is, part is truly the 'end'. And race will not be asked to be repeated after, for whatever reason(s). 6.
