Definition: (informal, especially North American English) A film/movie, play, etc. that is not realistic and has no artistic qualities.

1. Purposeful for the producers, marketers, etc.

2. Necessary for the scriptwriter, playwrights, actors/actresses, etc.

3. (Reserved.) (Actors/actresses will all be novices/incompetents, 'wannabes', minions/minnows, etc.)

4. Will not be watched or viewed fully or completely by a paying audience. That is, theatre/station will be departed/changed before the end of show (= 'rubbish').

5. Never given positive recommendation or plaudits by anyone who has seen or watched film/movie, play, etc. That is, disc or ticket will not be knowingly bought for another person to go see/watch 'nonsense'.

6. Rubbish serves purpose(s) (connect to #1 & #2).
