| HIT-AND-RUN (1) Definition: (of a road accident) An accident in which the driver does not stop to help. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Not wished for (and there is an awareness of the accident). 2. Driver is licensed or authorized, if a learner (and speed was within legal or allowable limits). 3. Car or vehicle was in an excellent, roadworthy condition (and can stop or still move a reasonable distance after accident). 4. Handler of car was in a reasonable state and frame of mind at the time of the accident (and would have been able to help, if he or she had stopped). 5. Damage to vehicle or car is minimal and/or unnoticeable (and impacted car will be fixed immediately after). 6. Driver does not quickly forget the accident (and/but will not be haunted by its memory). 7. Driver does not truly regret accident. (Simply has no conscience.) 8. Driver will not voluntarily report accident of be found out (even if accident was witnessed and/or there was/were passenger(s) in car). 9. Victim of accident does not become a fatality (even if he or she becomes handicapped as a result). 10. Driver continues driving and gets safely to destination (be this nearby or far away). 11. Particular route where accident happened will not be avoided in the future by driver (brings no fear and leaves no scars). ___________________________ * PRAY VICTIM IS NO RELATIVE !! | |
