| HERO (1) Definition: A person, especially a man, who is admired by many people for doing something brave and good. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. The deed was done singly or solely by the admired person. 2. No illegal, illicit or unapproved assistance was involved in accomplishing the special thing. 3. Thing was done, at the time of act/action, without an eye on, or an expectation of, future admiration or reward. (To emphasize, connect to #6.) 4. Does not gleefully or boisterously announce or report feat (where the act of bravery or goodness was not witnessed by others). 5. Deed is verifiable. That is, thing is specific and identifiable, measurable and/or assessable; can be confirmed. 6. Person will repeat the act, again, in the future, if necessary, all other things being equal. (Connect to #8.) 7. Will give credit to whom due for the courage and wisdom, honour or integrity, inspiration or determination, goodness or rightness, etc. displayed. 8.
